Sweet Pea

March 26, 2009

My little Sweet Pea can finally sit up on her own. I’ve been excited for this day to come so that I could practice some new ideas on her. I decided to take advantage of this, by setting up a back drop while my wife dressed my little girl in pearls. Sadly setting up the back drop and getting her dressed took too long and she was ready to go to bed. We were able to get a bunch of cute pics but it was a bit harder to get her to smile.

Rian

March 24, 2009

Here a couple pictures I took last month. Its amazing how much I have learned since then. Rian is a total girl, with her sass and love for posing. I can’t wait to borrow her again to try out some new backgrounds and maybe a few shots outside when it gets warm again.

Pizza Girl

March 22, 2009

While at the Julie Parker workshop we met this girl at The Pie restaurant. She let us borrow her for a few minutes, and we were able to get some great shots. Here are a couple of my favorites.

Models Make It Easy

March 22, 2009

A couple weeks ago I did a workshop with Julie Parker. She brought one of her favorite models, Rachel. She is a lot of fun to work with, and she is a total natural. The hardest part about this shoot was narrowing down which pictures to post on the blog. The workshop was awesome and I learned a ton. If you love any of these dresses she is wearing, they are all from MikaRose

Micah and Family

March 16, 2009

I just want to say thanks again to Alan and Jen for letting me practice on their gorgeous new baby girl. It was my first time taking photos of a newborn and I learned a lot. Thanks again for the cookies, they were gone that day.

Emma & Sarah Jane

March 8, 2009

These girls were such troopers. The promise of hot chocolate at the end of the shoot was all it took to get them through the bitter cold and wind.
