Tyler and Anikah were so fun to work with, and I’m glad we were able to get their last minute shoot in. I had a cancelation that day so it worked out perfectly.

Tyler being an amazing artist for pixar had a lot of artistic input and Ideas. You should check out his blog to see some of his work. Anikah was a natural in front of the camera, with every shot her expression or smile just blew me away. I had a very hard time narrowing down the pictures for these guys. It was even harder to narrow it down for the blog.

Early Morning Boating

August 25, 2009

I love living in Utah, and having the ability to drive a few minutes and be on a beautiful lake up in the mountains. Early Saturday morning we did just that, and went to Jordanelle Lake. The water was pretty cold at 8 a.m. but once you crash a few times the water doesn’t seem so cold. I hurt my wrist earlier that week, so I wasn’t able to really go crazy wakeboarding but thats what little brothers are for. Here a couple shots I got of Chase doing flips on the wakeboard and being thrown off the tube.

And of course I can’t help throwing in a picture of my little Sweet Pea.

Heather’s Bridals

August 23, 2009

I have a bunch of stuff that I need to blog and Heather’s Bridals are a great way to start it off. Heather found this beautiful location up in Park City, and we spent a couple hours taking advantage of all the different backgrounds. There wasn’t a ton of shade but we were able to make it work.

Schmidt Family

August 13, 2009

Wow life has gotten busy. I feel like my blog has been so slow lately, and its not from a lack of content. Here is a family session I did a few weeks ago. It was a fun session and I’ll never forget how the mom got the youngest child to smile. She gave him her chapstick and said, “Throw it at mommy”. His eyes would light up and the he would chuck it as hard as he could and bust up laughing. Unconventional but apparently very affective.

Cervantez Family

August 5, 2009

I met the Cervantez family because they won a Family photo session with me, from their elementary school fundraiser. Actually DeeAnn, the mom, grew up near my mom’s family. I was hoping to get some good blackmail on my mom but sadly she didn’t have anything. It was fun working with these guys. I was even able to get a good smile out of the oldest son, Garritt, even though his mom said he wasn’t excited to have his picture taken.
