It’s rare to find a family of older kids, that are still willing to get close and hug for photos. You could tell that these guys were not just family but also good friends. Caitlin, the high school senior, was a natural in front of the camera. She claims it’s because she is in a photography class and because she is a huge fan of the TV show America’s Next Top Model. Either way she was a lot of fun.

October 24, 2009Well the sneak peak of this family was a huge hit so I’m excited to post some more. For those of you trying to think of a good idea for your family pictures, documenting a family activity, like coloring together, really turned out well. Baby Adam
October 24, 2009I was very excited for this shoot. Not only because Adam is such a cute kid, but because I got to see my buddy from my mission. Congratulations Sean & Megan, and thanks again for letting me capture this exciting time in baby Adam’s life.

Sunday mornings
October 2, 2009As far as church goes, I have always thought the earlier the better. This year our church has been at 1:00pm. So we are lazy all morning, go to church, and then it feels like the day is over. Last week we were all dressed and ready a little earlier than usual, so we went for a little drive, and found this cool place. I think this would be a great place to use for an engagement session or senior session. Its not a very colorful place so vibrant outfits would work well here. Like all parents I love every picture taken of my kids. I love seeing their personalities stand out in every shot. These are no exception.

Jeppson Family
September 16, 2009I can’t believe I almost forgot to post this awesome family photo session. The Jeppson’s were easy to work with, not only because they are gorgeous, and stylish, but also because they are an all around nice family. Their kids were so fun to work with and just had fun playing outside together. Summer is almost gone now. The morning’s are cold enough to be jacket worthy and its just not hot enough during the day to justify running through the sprinklers. Although the winter isn’t all bad I already miss the summer.
Sweet Pea turns 1
September 1, 2009I really can’t believe that my little girl is already 1. This little angel defines sugar and spice and everything nice. Nothing makes my heart melt more than a little hug from her. Happy Birthday Sweat Pea.

Early Morning Boating
August 25, 2009I love living in Utah, and having the ability to drive a few minutes and be on a beautiful lake up in the mountains. Early Saturday morning we did just that, and went to Jordanelle Lake. The water was pretty cold at 8 a.m. but once you crash a few times the water doesn’t seem so cold. I hurt my wrist earlier that week, so I wasn’t able to really go crazy wakeboarding but thats what little brothers are for. Here a couple shots I got of Chase doing flips on the wakeboard and being thrown off the tube.
And of course I can’t help throwing in a picture of my little Sweet Pea.

August 13, 2009Wow life has gotten busy. I feel like my blog has been so slow lately, and its not from a lack of content. Here is a family session I did a few weeks ago. It was a fun session and I’ll never forget how the mom got the youngest child to smile. She gave him her chapstick and said, “Throw it at mommy”. His eyes would light up and the he would chuck it as hard as he could and bust up laughing. Unconventional but apparently very affective.
