I have been patiently waiting to get these Bridals on the blog. Shooting with Zuri the Zebra was so much fun. His owners were very helpful and great to work with. I think the evening went well, and as you can imagine, we really drew a crowd around this field that day.
Yesterday in Portland Oregon these two got married in the Portland LDS Temple. I had the pleasure to go and shoot their amazing wedding. Check back soon to see some pictures of their wedding day.

Brad took some time after school one day to cross stitch this little number. He cracks me up.

Happy 4th of July

July 3, 2011

Easily one of my favorite holidays. Celebrating our freedoms with food, fun, and fireworks. Thanks again, Jess, for being my model for these pictures. Happy 4th of July!

Angela and Davey Wedding

June 28, 2011

Ok here it comes, another long post with lots of fun pictures. Thanks again Angela and Davey for trusting me with your special day. It was great getting to know you and your families.

Like I’ve said before, I am way behind on blog posts. Here is a fun Bridal Session from a few weeks ago. The second the first shutter clicked I felt a rain drop hit me. Instead of worrying about it we shot in the rain and got some great pictures.

I love Ashley’s style. After going through the outfits she brought, I was not surprised when she said she wanted to pursue fashion. We talked a little bit about the need to follow your passion and that once you find something you love you should go for it. I think she was a little surprised when she learned that although I took many classes in photography, I got a degree in English. I’ve always loved photography but wasn’t sure what I could do with that. Now that I think about it, I don’t know what I would do with a degree in English.

Good luck, Ashley, with whatever you decide to do. I know you’ll do great.

Most engagement sessions have fun stories and interesting things happen, but not all of them involve people pointing a gun at me. I always ask permission before going to this location but the neighbors are very protective. Thanks again Nicole and Eric for being so cool about it.

Here is a cute couple for your Memorial Day weekend. I wanted to post these before go and mow my lawn, wash the car, and all the many other things my wife has planned for me. I hope you all enjoy your long weekend.

Here is another post before I go to bed. Meet Hayden, she is a senior at Hillcrest High and pursuing fashion. I really love taking senior portraits. Seniors have so much attitude that makes these pictures interesting and stand out. Hayden is no exception.

After meeting with Eliesa and Brad to discuss their wedding, my wife and I were seriously sore from laughing. Brad is such a goof and so funny. Eliesa is so easy going and even encourages Brad’s goofiness. They are such a cute couple, and I knew this session was going to be a lot of fun.
I can’t wait for their Wedding in July in Portland.

Seriously, Kylee cannot take a bad picture. Such a beautiful girl and a lot of fun. I had the pleasure of shooting Kylee and Mark’s Wedding last week, and from what I could tell, EVERYONE loves them.  I have never been to a wedding that was as packed as theirs.  They can definitely throw a rockin’ party.  I sure was lucky to be able to enjoy their day with them.
