I’m way excited to post these pictures of my little brother. He just got his LDS mission call to Kiev Ukraine. I’m so proud of him and know he will be a great missionary.

November 2, 2009Halloween is for sure one of my favorite holidays, and now that my son is getting old enough to really get excited about it, it makes it that much more fun. This year we carved pumpkins, ate spooky pancakes, drank pumpkin shakes, and of course lots of trick-or-treating. Here are a couple pictures of our Batman and our little stinker.
Halloween was a lot of fun but now that its over we can start getting excited about the next big holidays. Give me a call for your holiday family photos. I plan on posting some examples of my wife’s awesome custom holiday card designs as well, so hurry and save a date before we’re totally booked.
Pumpkin Patch {Salt Lake Family Photographer Travis Richardson}
October 25, 2009Wow, this was a very productive weekend. Six blog posts in two days. We were in San Diego Last week, I’ll post those photos soon, and as you could tell I got a little behind. I had to end it all with some pictures of my two gorgeous kids. The pumpkin season is almost over and I was afraid I was going to miss it.
Sorry Julie to make you wait so long, but here is a quick peek at two of my favorites.
It’s rare to find a family of older kids, that are still willing to get close and hug for photos. You could tell that these guys were not just family but also good friends. Caitlin, the high school senior, was a natural in front of the camera. She claims it’s because she is in a photography class and because she is a huge fan of the TV show America’s Next Top Model. Either way she was a lot of fun.

October 24, 2009Well the sneak peak of this family was a huge hit so I’m excited to post some more. For those of you trying to think of a good idea for your family pictures, documenting a family activity, like coloring together, really turned out well. Sunday mornings
October 2, 2009As far as church goes, I have always thought the earlier the better. This year our church has been at 1:00pm. So we are lazy all morning, go to church, and then it feels like the day is over. Last week we were all dressed and ready a little earlier than usual, so we went for a little drive, and found this cool place. I think this would be a great place to use for an engagement session or senior session. Its not a very colorful place so vibrant outfits would work well here. Like all parents I love every picture taken of my kids. I love seeing their personalities stand out in every shot. These are no exception.

Tyler and Anikah Wedding
September 26, 2009After doing Tyler and Anikah’s engagements, I knew I was going to love their wedding. The were married at the Salt Lake Temple, on a bright and sunny day. Anikah’s dress was awesome. It had such an old antique feel to it. I was totally amazed when she told me she designed it. The reception was at Thanksgiving Point in Lehi. As you can guess, it was just fabulous. It might seem like I’m posting a ton of pictures from this wedding but I just can’t help it. Trust me there were a ton more that I wanted to post.
Matt and Sarah’s wedding
September 22, 2009I was very excited to shoot Matt and Sarah’s wedding for a couple reasons. First they seemed way nice over email, but also because it would be my first full wedding. They decided that the new Draper temple would be a great place to get married, and I agree it was a beautiful day and location. Thanks again for letting me join you on your special day.
FYI I love weddings and am excited to do many more.
