Annie and Kacey are a great couple. I recently photographed their wedding and had so much fun. I’ve been meaning to share their bridals with you, but I’ve been crazy busy lately. Originally we wanted to shoot up in Albion Basin but as luck has it, it snowed a couple days before our session and the roads were closed. I’m actually glad that happened because the colors that were in the valley that night were just beautiful.

Annie and Kacey – Bridals
November 23, 2011Moves like Jagger
October 29, 2011I have to share this picture of Max dancing. While taking his 4 year old pictures he couldn’t help but dance. Max is easily one of the funniest kids ever. His parents are good friends of ours, the type that make you sore from laughing.
This kid has some serious moves. But it’s no surprise when you know this is his uncle.

October 16, 2011Lindsey and Ben are Married
October 13, 2011Lindsey and Ben are such a cute couple. While driving up the canyon in Oakley we got to talk a little bit, and after our short drive together I could tell these two were perfect for each other. He is a little country and she is a little rock and roll. We took the bridals at a family cabin and as you can see, it was just beautiful.
The reception was held in Ben’s family’s back yard. It was a beautiful country style wedding, complete with homemade jam as a thank you gift. I had some myself, and it was delicious.
I had a great time spending the evening with these two and their families. In fact, Lindsey’s awesome sister (who claims to be the reason Lindsey and Ben found me) offered me a room in their house for my next California wedding. How awesome is that?
Kacey, Catherine, Diesel and Zuri
October 10, 2011Can I tell you how excited I am to shoot this couple’s wedding? First of all, these two are awesome. They are happy people, and a lot of fun to be around. Second, the first question they asked me was, “would you like to shoot our wedding in Cabo?”
Um, YES!
When we sat down together to discuss what we wanted to do for their engagement session, we discussed bikes and their dog in the mountains. But then they saw the shoot I had done with Zuri, the zebra. Catherine called me and said that the owner of the zebra was a family friend of hers. Then she told me that she really wanted to have her engagements with the zebra.
So here comes obvious question number two, “would you shoot our session with the zebra?”
YES!
I’m always impressed bye feats of will power, and these two have that. They both finished the 208 mile LOTOJA bike race in September. I’m sure there is some metaphor for marriage in there somewhere.
Thanks, again, Kacey and Catherine. I can hardly wait until next month!

October 6, 2011Brad and Eliesa Portland, Oregon Wedding
September 13, 2011It has been a while since I last posted. Not only have I been really busy with the wedding season, I have also had some technical issues. I’m glad to say those issues have now been resolved, and I can now get back to posting the awesome weddings I have been shooting! Do you remember this couple’s zebra formals? Well, they were married in Portland, Oregon, and I was lucky enough to join them. These two are probably the nicest, most fun people I have ever had the chance to meet. I am so glad I was able to get to know them through my photography. That really is one of the best parts of my job. I get to meet the coolest people. Anyway, this wedding was beautiful. Portland was beautiful. The whole day was so fun. Thanks again, Brad and Eliesa. I hope you like your pictures as much as I do.
Sami and Blake Row Boat Bridals
August 12, 2011I’m so excited to finally share these bridals with you. Sami and Blake are such an adventurous couple. I told them about the boat idea and they were more than willing and very excited. Sami’s mom, however, was a little nervous to watch her daughter climb into a boat in a lake while wearing her beautiful wedding dress. Luckily, Sami didn’t fall in, and we were able to get these gorgeous shots.
