I had a lot of fun with this cute couple. We found a beautiful little field near Sundance. I hoped my ravishing good looks and charm would prevent us from getting kicked off the private property but a few minutes into it we got busted. Luckily we had pretty much wrapped up that location.
I know a bunch of their friends and have had more requests from them to hurry and edit these pictures then the couple themselves. So without further ado…

July 16, 2010Baby Gabe (Birth Story)
June 16, 2010Documenting a birth story from my own prospective was more difficult than I thought it would be. Usually, all I can think about is taking pictures, but when it was my own son all I could think about was how beautiful he was. That aside I am more than happy with the pictures I did get.
Sorry it was a lot of pictures, but its my own kid so get over it.
Senior Season
May 26, 2010Wow. Senior Season is on and in full force. I have been so busy shooting and editing that I can’t remember the last time I got a full nights sleep. Here is just one of the recent seniors and for sure one of my favorites. These girls had so much fun during this shoot, and we got so many great shots, that I had a really hard time narrowing down which pictures to show.
Kolby + Kennedy + Balloons = Awesome
May 12, 2010I seriously get so excited when I get to share photos that are this fun. Kolby and Kennedy are a such a great couple that just seem so perfect for each other. The balloons were such a great idea and using them downtown fits their personalities so well. Thanks for letting me share this exciting time with you guys.
If I was to ever get a tattoo this is probably what I would get.
Alishea Senior Portraits (Alta High)
May 3, 2010I am very excited to post these senior pictures. Alishea is a beautiful senior from Alta High and it was a lot of fun to spend and evening capturing her personality. Alishea’s session started off really well and we got some great shots right away. We then moved to a new location where she asked to change outfits. I’m a big supporter of variety in wardrobe but I didn’t expect the dancing shoes. The sun was going down so I was very glad that I brought some of my lighting just in case. Believe it or not I’m not a dancer so I had to rely heavily on her for poses. She asked if she should do some of her tricks. I just laughed because it sounded like she was on a skateboard and was going to do a kickflip or something. I said of course and was amazed by her talent. Another great part was listening to her little sister say, “SICK! She is sooo flexible.” These fun shots prove again that when booking a portrait session you should not be afraid to use your talent as a prop. Thanks again Alishea.
Scott and Sharli Engagements
April 26, 2010Another cute couple getting married in May. I feel bad having dragged these guys all over downtown with Scott on crutches from an old motorcycle accident. We would walk to a location and he would then ditch the crutches and stand strong while I did my best to shoot quickly and get him back on the crutches. I can’t wait to share their Wedding Announcement my wife designed for them. Those should be up soon.
Bell Family – Sandy Utah Photographer
April 23, 2010What a gorgeous family. I have know them for a while, especially Whit who has been friends with my sister since Elementary school. They are such a nice personable family and it was a pleasure to spend a couple hours with them talking and taking pictures. I was also excited to find out that they are expecting another child, and they couldn’t be happier about it. Congratulations again you guys.
Boardman Family (Utah Family Photographer)
April 6, 2010What a good looking family. These kids are so full of character and funny expression, I couldn’t help but bust up laughing while going through them. One day I plan on making a collage of all the goofy faces Rian made while her parents tried to convince her to laugh. And baby Hudson is just adorable, this kid doesn’t take a bad picture.
Tommy and Rilee Engagements Downtown SLC
March 5, 2010Warning this is going to be a big post. After last week’s sneak peek of these two, I got a lot of people asking me if they are a gothic couple and if they hired the mime to follow us around on this shoot. The truth is that mime just happened to be walking by while we were playing around downtown. Really this session turned out really great and has made me even more excited to shoot their wedding in May.
