Here is another post before I go to bed. Meet Hayden, she is a senior at Hillcrest High and pursuing fashion. I really love taking senior portraits. Seniors have so much attitude that makes these pictures interesting and stand out. Hayden is no exception.

I’ve been excited to share these Formals with you, and now they are finally married so I can. I can’t get enough of this cute couple.

As you can see Caitlin and Sam are a very good looking couple and so fun to be around. When they asked me to shoot their Engagements and Bridals I knew right away these were going to turn out awesome. Despite being good looking, Mother Nature had it out for them. When we shot their engagements the wind was nearly blowing us over. When we shot their Bridals in Park City (Coming Soon) the weather was perfect until 30 minutes prior to shooting. However, I do think the snow made those pictures quite pretty. Thank you Sam and Caitlin for being so fun and smiling despite Mother Nature’s curve balls.

Wedding season has begun and is already in full force. Although I’m super busy these days I will try and keep updating my blog. Here is a wedding that I’ve been very anxious to show you all. I had a blast shooting this awesome couple’s wedding. They were so laid back and truly enjoyed their special day. When we were discussing their itinerary for the reception Tyler told me something that peaked my interest. He said that at 8:00 the “wild hypnotic dancing” will start. I’m happy to say they delivered on this plan. I hope you don’t mind me posting a ton of pictures, but like I said, it was a lot of fun.

You might notice my edits have changed a bit. In this post I’ve included my new “vintage” edit and my new BW edit. Let me know what you think.

I should have posted this couple a while ago. I’ve been super busy preparing for the Thanksgiving Point Bridal show last week. Its finally over and now I’m trying to catch up on all of my editing. There are a lot of great sessions coming up, so stay tuned.

Kylee & Mark

March 15, 2011

From the day we met to plan the these pictures, I knew I was going to like this session. Kylee and Mark had really done their homework, and they knew exactly what they wanted. As you can tell from these pictures it turned out really well. Be sure to leave some comments, and let them know what you think.

He Sits!

February 6, 2011

It only took him seven months to master but he finally has it down. He can jump, he can catch air in his bouncy seat, he can make his car seat turn 180 degrees by rocking himself, and I may have seen a bit of an army crawl. But sitting up has been a struggle, until now.

While I was discussing a location with Ashley and Paul, they mentioned that if I wanted to, we could use Paul’s horses and pasture. Luckily I’m not an idiot and I immediately said yes. I’ve done shoots with dogs before but trying to get two horses to pose was new to me. But not surprisingly much easier.
I have a website coming soon and you bet some of these are going to be on it.

Engagement sessions are certainty something unique. I love spending time with a couple that are so in love and excited to spend eternity together. Zannah and Nick are no exception. I had a lot of fun with them and am excited to share these with you.

Hillcrest Varsity Cheer

January 25, 2011

A few months ago I was approached by a mother from the Hillcrest Varsity Cheer Team. She was excited about the senior pictures I had just taken of her daughter and was wondering if I would be willing to do a session with the whole squad.
Senior portraits are some of the funnest pictures to take. Kids that age have so much attitude and are usually very excited to get pictures of their fun personalities. So it was a no brainer to do a session with twelve hyper cheerleaders. I am very happy with how well the pictures turned out. Feel free to check out my FB page to see even more.
