Leslie, the mom, is a kick butt instructor at the Life Centre in Sandy and I challenge anyone of you to go and do her muscle blast class Saturday mornings. Jen, her oldest daughter, dared me to take that class years ago and I absolutely loved it.

It just blows me away how great these two look in front of the camera. I hardly have to pose them. Most of the time, their normal interaction is exactly what I’m looking for. I hope you enjoy these pictures at least half as much as I do.
Ruth is such a doll. She wasn’t to sure if she wanted to smile for me but after a little work she was convinced.
Baby Gabe (Birth Story)
June 16, 2010Documenting a birth story from my own prospective was more difficult than I thought it would be. Usually, all I can think about is taking pictures, but when it was my own son all I could think about was how beautiful he was. That aside I am more than happy with the pictures I did get.
Sorry it was a lot of pictures, but its my own kid so get over it.
Kolby + Kennedy + Balloons = Awesome
May 12, 2010I seriously get so excited when I get to share photos that are this fun. Kolby and Kennedy are a such a great couple that just seem so perfect for each other. The balloons were such a great idea and using them downtown fits their personalities so well. Thanks for letting me share this exciting time with you guys.
If I was to ever get a tattoo this is probably what I would get.
Scott and Sharli Engagements
April 26, 2010Another cute couple getting married in May. I feel bad having dragged these guys all over downtown with Scott on crutches from an old motorcycle accident. We would walk to a location and he would then ditch the crutches and stand strong while I did my best to shoot quickly and get him back on the crutches. I can’t wait to share their Wedding Announcement my wife designed for them. Those should be up soon.
Tommy and Rilee Engagements Downtown SLC
March 5, 2010Warning this is going to be a big post. After last week’s sneak peek of these two, I got a lot of people asking me if they are a gothic couple and if they hired the mime to follow us around on this shoot. The truth is that mime just happened to be walking by while we were playing around downtown. Really this session turned out really great and has made me even more excited to shoot their wedding in May.
Texie and Cole Wedding
December 22, 2009Last week I had the awesome opportunity to second shoot a wedding with the great Julie Parker. It was a lot of fun to see her in action and to get more wedding experience. Last Family of 2009 The Jacobs
December 22, 2009This year has been a lot of fun. I got to know a lot of great people and have done some fun, interesting shoots. Here is the last family session of 2009. I don’t do a lot of indoor locations, but when its below freezing and the family has a beautiful little new born baby, you’re forced to find a warm windowed location. The Salt Lake Library was a perfect solution. The little girls were perfect little posers. Without any direction they would put their hands on their hips and throw their chin towards their shoulders. It made me laugh every time. Thanks again Jacobs.
